I thought I'd share another nail post with you guys and surprisingly it's another topshop nail polish. because I don't play enough about them ahah.
seriously now I think I'm addicted! I love love love the nail polish line from topshop seriously can not find a fault with them. the one I'm wearing today goes by the title of thread bead. it's a really nice creamy browny nude and its perfect for the autumn/winter season.

what your favourite topshop shade?

Topshop brazil

As I am sure most of you guys are aware I am completely obsessed over Topshop Nail polishes. I have my own little collection going and don't think it will stop anytime soon. The latest addition to my little family is topshop's Brazil polish. Firstly I think the name is very appropriate with the polish. On to the polish itself, Brazil consists of a clear polish covered in multicolored particles of glitter and little glitter reflects. I feel it is quite a summer polish but I reckon it will work well for the Christmas season what with all the glittery decorations and Christmas party's about, perfect!
I wore it over a plain white nail tip polish, none branded just your typical white in order for me to see the product true to its colour as its not strong enough to cover the nail on its own. I really like this polish its so pretty and I think it could be quite universal, all over the nails, accent nails, glitter nail tips. Just a few ideas there for you but anyway overall I think its a great colour and only cost's £6.00 which I feel is reasonable for 8ml's worth of polish

For some reason it kind of reminds of the white chocolate  jazzels sweets, anyone else agree?

trend: summer nails

During the summer I love to wear bright warm toned colours mainly, I sometimes but on a cool toned shade occasionally for things like events or dinner evening. My main loves to wear are often pinks, corals, oranges and reds. The most 'holiday related' shades'

Trends: The current nails trends for summer 2O12 are pastels, obviously everywhere you look there's pastel clothing currently. Nude's which I feel are perfect for the vacation because you don't want to spend all your time changing you nail colour to match your outfit but nudes work perfectly with anything and then its the Neon's. The brighter the better it seems this season because I've been seeing a lot of lime greens and fuchsia pinks in magazines and on the catwalk recently.

So I've been searching all over the internet to see which nail varnishes will be the next to break my bank and earn them self a place on my varnish vanity, the culprits are:

From the OPI Holland spring summer collection
- Gouda Gouda two shoes

This gorgeous golden bronzed neutral shade which is hard to describe looks so gorgeous while still staying in the neutrals colour family its a little more bold with gorgeous light reflecting particals, I can imagine paring this with rose gold bracelets and a soft white linen dress for that, effortless chic look.

From Ciate
- Sugar plum paint pot
Im not sure if your all aware but if you purchase a Marie Claire magazine this month you get a free Ciate nail pain pot in with the magazine plus a 25% of your next Ciate order so that's a great deal, anyway with that little side note out the way I feel this gorgeous pastel lilac would look great against a summer tan weather that me natural or unnatural knowing the typical British weather.

From Essie
-Bikini so teeny

I actually came across this new colour from Essie collection when watching a YouTube video although I cant quite remember who's it was, anyway i feel in love with the colour and then when I heard what the name was I feel in love with it even more, Essie can be a little expensive especially for a student or somebody on a budget but im sure someone like Topshop or maybe even No.7 ( with the £5.00 off voucher there always raming down your throats) will do a dupe or one very similar.

From Barry M
- Shocking pink

Now I am a huge fan of Barry M nail paints and I am aware they are a love hate product but I feel there so cheap, so simple, easy to get a hold of within the UK and they have the largest range in colours for the drugstore. I can imagine this contrasting against other bright summer clothes like oranges and yellow, doing colour blocking with nails or something of that sort.

From Revlon
- Sassy

Now this shade may look a little ' what the [beep] are you thinking' but I really like it, only for abroad on holiday though, dont think i would be brave enough to wear it in England because of the groggy, nasty images that relate to the colour, but with a black dress, golden bronze accessories and a tan, i think it would be perfect, its bright but a little reserved and not as in your face as the above barry M shade.

so there's all my shade recommendations and wants for the summer, hope you girlies liked it and if so what are you favorite summer shades?

Topshop: Spring nails

With it being spring now and me trying to reach away from my usual berry's, red's and purples on my nails I popped into topshop and though't i'd pick up a few nail varnishes.

I haven't tried there nail polishes before so I just got two in case i didn't like the finish of them.. I opted for ones a little out of my usual comfort zone with me feeling all adventurous and what not.

These were to two I got, I purchased the light blue on but had my eye on the lilac white one too so my boyfriend got that for me ( being all cute) And i have to say I LOVE these colours, I was sceptical of the blue at first because it isnt a colour i tend to want on my nails just because I find them hard to pair with my wardrobe but W O W, it looks stunning the on nails.

So for the shades I got, they are..

Waterlily 101
Celestial 105

I will keep you updated on my opinion on them the more I wear and compare them

 thanks for reading  xoxo

How to: newspaper nails.

I'm sure you've all seen how to do newspaper nails before it's all over beauty blogs and youtube but for those who dont here's my way that I do it.

Firstly you will need:

Newspaper, nude nail varnish, clear top coat and some cheap perfume ( or one you dont wear often)
- You could additionally have some nail varnish remover to neaten up once this is finished.

  • Take your nude colour and just paint all your nails and leave untill they are completley dry.
  • place the newspaper over the nail and squirt perfume onto the paper so the nail is completley covered.

So far it should look a little like this.

  • Next leave that on for around 30 seconds to 1 minute and gently remove from the nail.
  • once done you should be left with a nail that has a newspaper print on it.

It should look a little like this although as you can see mines a little untidy so here you should remove any of the newspaper or varnish that has leaked over the nail and then finally set with a clear top coat, Finished!
